An Chanáil

My first book, published in 1988. It is the tale of Tiarnán, a little boy who lives in Dublin city, along the banks of the Grand Canal. He gets a puppy for Christmas and calls him Bodhrán. When Bodhrán goes missing Tiarnán searches the banks of the canal, first on foot and then on board Billí’s barge.

This book is go leor as Gaeilge (all in Irish), as translated by my sister, Bernardine.
